Linda was born February 17, 1957 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Edward and Lillian Hansen. She was a graduate of Sioux City West High School in 1975. After a near death tragedy later that year, Linda resided with her parents, where she dedicated her life to being there for others. She had many family members that she helped nurture and care for. When her mother passed away in 2008, she moved in with her brother, Terry and sister-in-law, Sally.
Linda had an amazing gift of patience and the largest heart for children. She always had time for her family, especially all her nieces and nephews, with whom she loved to play with, talk to, brag about and spend quality time with.
Linda's passions included; cross-stitching ornaments for others every year, attending a community art class with her sister-in-law, going to church with her brother and shopping with her niece. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or holiday card.
Linda was a strong, caring, loving and incredible person that touched everyone she met and will be loved and missed every day forever.
Survivors include 4 brothers, Bill (Renate) Ames of Sioux City, Terry Hansen of South Sioux City, Rich (Cheryl) Hansen of Sioux City, Tom (Kelly) Hansen of Litchfield, MN; 14 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Randy and Mike; and a sister-in-law, Sally.
