Our Staff

Don O. Mohr III and Diane Mohr have owned and operated the Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, Nebraska since 1994. Don is the great-great grandson of John Mohr, the founder of Mohr Funeral Home. He graduated from Ponca High School and attended Wayne State College. He graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon, with a degree in Mortuary Science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1986. He is licensed in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. He is a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and has been active in many community organizations. He and his wife Diane have four children and four grandchildren.

Linda Kai has been a resident of South Sioux City, Nebraska for over 32 years, having moved from Omaha, Nebraska. Three of her four children have graduated from South Sioux City High School. Linda is married to Bill, who owns his own painting business and is employed by the South Sioux Fraternal Order of Eagles. Linda has worked in various car dealerships in Sioux City, Iowa for over twenty years and after retiring in 2005, came to work at Mohr Funeral Home as a part time receptionist and a memorial marker counselor.
